Ingredients
Basmati rice : 2 cups
Onion : 3
Chilli powder : 2 tsp
Cumin : 1 tsp
Panneer (in cubes) : 200 gm
Oil : 2 tbsp
Ghee : 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
Lime juice : 1 tsp
Cloves : 2
Bark of cloves : 2 pieces
Salt : as needed
Cardamom : 2
Water : 3 cups
Method
Cut onion into long thin slices.
In a frying pan heat oil and ghee.
Add cumin, bark of cloves, cloves, cardamom and onion.
Add salt, panneer, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and fry.
Add water, lime juice, salt and let it boil.
Add basmati rice and when cooked remove from fire.
Alternate Method
Cook Basmati rice with a pinch of salt and set it aside in a bowl.
Fry the ingredients without lime juice.
Add the fried ingredients, lime juice to the rice.
Mix well and serve.
