Spanish Rice

Ingredients

 

Basmati rice : 2 cups

Onion : 1

Tomato : 1

Capsicum : 1

Curd : ¼ cup

Salt : as needed

Oil : 4 tbsp

Spring onions (cut) : ¼ cup

For Seasoning

Cloves : 2

Bark of cloves : 2 piece

Cardamom : 2

To grind

Dried red chilli : 12

Garlic : 8 cloves

 

Method

 

Wash basmati rice let it soak in water for sometime and cook.

Cut vegetable into thin slices.

In a dry frying pan fry redchilli.

Grind redchilli and garlic in a mixie.

Take oil in a frying pan and add the seasoning ingredients.

Add onion and fry.

Add the ground paste and fry for 5 minutes.

Add salt, capsicum and fry for 2 minutes.

Add tomato and curd and fry for 3 minutes.

Add cooked rice, cut spring onions.

Mix well and serve when hot.
